Mangaone Cliffs

Mangaone Cliffs

Napier

Mangaone Cliffs is situated just 30 minutes from Napier city in the Hawke's Bay.

This river-side campsite really does put the glamorous in glamorous camping. Every little detail has been thought through - with nothing but the most luxurious facilities on offer.

The campsite is made up of two tents, with separate bathroom and kitchen buildings. A large, safari-style tent is the ultimate in luxury for couples - with an opulent king-sized bed, Natural Flame fireplace, gorgeous oversized armchairs and all the stylish touches of a 5-star hotel. The second tent is a magical 'Lotus Belle' - ideal for kids, with four comfortable mattress-style, beds.

The campsite sits on a working sheep and beef farm, at the foot of magnificent 75-metre cliffs on the edge of the Mangaone River. A line of native Kanuka trees creates privacy and shade, with double outdoor baths nestled amongst the wiry trunks, overlooking the river.

This is a place for serious relaxation to be had. Sit on your spacious covered tent-deck, drink in hand, taking in the sunset views and watching the kids splashing and swimming in the river. Listen to the tranquil sound of the water running over rocks, native birdlife and marvel at the enormity of the limestone cliffs towering above.

Mangaone Cliffs Glamping is stunning accommodation in the heart of the Hawkes Bay. If you're looking for an extra-special experience - this is it.

    Your Hosts

Your hosts at Mangaone Cliffs are Binks and Dave McCurdy, and their three children Oscar, Finn and Maddie.

Dave and Binks moved to the Hawke's Bay six years ago from the South Island to farm the 2500 Sheep and Beef property - complete with magnificent limestone cliffs. They thought it was the perfect place to position a luxury campsite - and thus, Mangaone Cliffs was born.

The McCurdy family love the outdoors and are extremely proud of the beautiful, luxurious glamping site they have created. They look forward to sharing it with you and meeting new people in the process!
