Sva's is situated on State Highway 6, 12 minutes drive from Punakaiki (Pancake Rocks). It's approximately halfway between Greymouth and Westport.
From the South - arriving from the south on SH6, 900m north of Fox River Bridge there is a layby on the left with an "A" frame kiosk with 5626 written on it. The entrance to Sva's driveway is 50m to the right before the kiosk.
From the North - arriving from the north on SH6, 900m before Fox River Bridge there is a layby on the right with an "A" frame kiosk with 5626 written on it. The entrance to Sva's driveway is 50m to the left after the kiosk.
Once you arrive, drive up the steep narrow drive for about 100m and Sva's hut is on your right. Take the right fork of the drive and there is a small parking/turning area.
You'll need a code for the lockbox so you can retrieve the keys for Sva's. The code will be supplied to you in a pre-arrival email 5 days prior to your stay.

Google Maps will give you a fairly accurate travel time from your start point to Fox River. Please let Douglas know your arrival time a day before you’re due to stay so he can have everything ready for your arrival.
