Little Creek Cabin

Little Creek Cabin

Cheviot, Canterbury

Little Creek Cabin is conveniently situated between Christchurch and Kaikoura, with Christchurch just a 90-minute drive away and Kaikoura less than an hour. The famous spa town, Hanmer Springs, is 1 hour and 15-minutes drive away. The hosts who created this lovely retreat also own Sky House.

The standalone cabin features a covered deck where the boundaries between indoor comfort and outdoor living dissolve into one. The inbuilt bath on the deck is a beautiful way to spend your slow morning overlooking the peaceful atmosphere of Caroline Stream as it meanders through the surrounding gully.  Further embrace the outdoor lifestyle with the BBQ and multiple seating options on the deck.

Just a stone's throw away, the rustic firepit calls for evening gatherings and s'mores for dessert.

Indoors, sunlight spills across a thoughtfully designed open-concept space where kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom harmoniously coexist. The queen size bed is adorned with lovely natural linen with a skylight directly above.

Looking to stretch your legs? Winding pathways beckon you to wander at your own pace throughout the property, guiding you alongside the melodious trickling stream and beneath the gentle canopy of trees.

Cheviot is more than just a stopover on your way to or from Kaikoura; it’s a destination worth exploring. You can leave the world behind, enjoy the changing views, and venture out nearby to discover the South Island's iconic scenery.
