  • your hosts

Your hosts at Alpine Bluffs are Jess and Ross.

Jess, Ross and their children Will, Angus, and Evie returned to Jess' family farm in 2020, continuing a century-long legacy. Yearning for a rural upbringing for their children, they were drawn back to this special place nestled amidst mountains and rivers. The farm offers a unique lifestyle, allowing them to work the land, explore the nearby mountains and waterways, and raise their children with a sense of freedom. Inspired by their own travel experiences, they decided to share the beauty of their surroundings by creating glamping pods overlooking the Rakaia River, offering guests a unique escape in a truly remarkable location. While you're here, be sure to check out their other glamping retreat, Braided Point.
