Set in farmland surroundings, with Kahikatea bush and mature shelterbelts nearby, you'll feel immersed in nature. Gentle views across fields reach all the way to the magnificent Mt Pirongia - often silhouetted by a glowing sunset at the end of the day.

The interior of the safari tent is serene and stylish, with every detail considered. The space contains a comfortable super-king-size bed and sofa for lounging. A fully equipped kitchenette is positioned to the side of the spacious deck - right outside. The outdoor bathroom is conveniently located just a short 5-metre walk from the tent via a decked walkway. 

Peace and tranquillity permeate every corner of this property. Home to a variety of birdlife you'll see tui, piwakawaka, kaka, and kereru. The views of Mt Pirongia and the beautiful sunsets are simply spectacular...And at night, experience the enchanting allure of the starry skies through the telescope!     Peeks of Pirongia is self-catering. Just bring your own food, and cook meals using the two-ring gas burner and Weber BBQ provided in your kitchen. All the utensils you'll need for cooking and eating are provided.

    Craving somewhere to wine and dine? Your hosts have recommended a variety of delicious restaurants and bars scattered around the area!  Gothenburg in Hamilton (30 minutes away), Rock-It Kitchen in Raglan (42 minutes away) and Five Stags in Pirongia (12 minutes away) are great for dinner. The Village Cafe in Whatawhata (15 minutes away) is perfect for a morning coffee or brunch. If your on the hunt for a drink, Fahrenheit Restaurant and The Redoubt Bar & Eatery in Te Awamutu are only a 20 minutes drive.

    Sarah works as a midwife manager in Hamilton, while Hamish is a sales manager in the dairy industry.

    Having lived on this land for 19 years, they know every inch of their property, including the stunning native birdlife that surrounds it. After considering ways to diversify their land, they discovered the joys of glamping and threw themselves wholeheartedly into developing a glamping site worthy of this whenua.

    Lovely spot. Only about twenty minutes off State Highway Three. Camping with all the luxury comforts, even a heat pump and electric blanket. Beautiful linen on the bed, very comfy. Rustic kitchen and bathroom, but all you need and very clean. Awesome hot tub and fire to sit by. Hosts were great. We will definitely stay again.
